2025 is here! With that said, Hot Wheels is rewinding the calendar to the 90s when the import scene exploded. This first mix of the #Walmart Exclusive, Automotive Themed Assortment (GDG44) is call #90s Street Scene appropriately. This is a very special #Case Report as I was able to buy a factory-sealed case off of eBay for a decent price so I can show you how the assortment breaks down.

Imports of the ’90s were known for their bright colors, loud graphics, and neon lights adhered to their undercarriage. Having obtained my driver’s license in the ’90s, it feels like yesterday when my friends and I would cruise “the strip” looking for the scene and checking out the cool cars. I had a 1990 Toyota Celica at the time with the flip up headlights. It wasn’t fast by any means, nor did I mod it, but man, it felt cool.

In this mix, you do get a Celica — albeit the next generation in the ’95 Toyota Celica GT-Four. It comes in silver which started to become a popular color for cars at the time. The deco is simple, but you do get the full front and back detail that the Hot Wheels Silver Series brings. The mix is rounded out by the #’96 Nissan 180SX Type X, #Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo, ’92 Honda Civic EG, and the #Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI — all great Hot Wheels castings of ’90s-era cars. Each vehicle is displayed in a corridor of neon lights for the blister card art which should help it stand out at Walmart. I unboxed one of these 10-count cases on the OTD YouTube Channel within the full #Case Report that you see here.

Hot Wheels Silver Series cases (GDG44) are exclusive to Walmart in the United States and contain only 10 vehicles, unlike Hot Wheels basics cases which have 72. In this mix, you will get the case breakdown seen below which can also been seen in the unboxing video above.
