Race Day is hitting retail and hobby dealers in full-force — and the search for “ROXY” is on! Hobby dealers are selling out of mix D almost instantaneously as Hot Wheels collectors are once again enamored with a pink car. This just so happens to be the first Hot Wheels #Car Culture chase to come in a color different than black. Add in the fact that the pink “Roxy” #Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) is a real race car — not just a chase variant of the green “Rexy” — and you can bet more than Hot Wheels collectors are looking for this piece! Getting two of Rexy in your case isn’t bad, but getting 1 and 1 is going to be a special treat for any collector. The rest of the mix may be overshadowed by Rexy and Roxy making their Hot Wheels debut, but believe it or not, there are 4 other cars in this mix to celebrate.
We just saw the #Corvette C8.R in a Barbie scheme in Pop Culture, and now we see the casting return to it’s race car DNA here with a replica livery that has been done is the mainline already. Some may take that as a negative but a premium version of this livery is the chef’s kiss here as we now have premium versions of both yellow and silver. Just like the C8.R, the ’18 Bentley Continental GT3 just appeared in premium. Mix “H” of Fast & Furious Premium had the “race-inspired” version of the movie car. Now we get simply, THE “race car”.
Rounding out the mix are the ’23 Nissan Z GT4 and the BMW 320 Group 5. The Z is the other new casting in this mix outside of the Rexy/Roxy combo. It comes in a replica NISMO livery that is on point for that brand. The BMW takes us in another direction… one that invokes memories a classic livery. Sure, the main sponsor doesn’t fit within Hot Wheels brand guidelines, but it’s great to see Hot Wheels at least try to tip-toe around their policy than avoid it altogether.
I unboxed one of these 10-count Race Day cases on the OTD YouTube Channel, and have a full #Case Report for you here. Modern Classics is imminent. 1 Stop Diecast appears to be sold out of that and this mix, so get your orders in for Hammer Drop which kicks off 2025 Car Culture.

Hot Wheels #Car Culture cases (FPY86) contain only 10 vehicles, unlike Hot Wheels basics cases which have 72. In this mix, you are guaranteed to get all 5 cars in the series. There are two variants of the case — with or without chase piece. In a standard case (without chase) you will get two of each vehicle. In a case with a chase, you will have the chase piece inserted for the second piece of it’s casting counterpart.
Below you’ll find the case list — all of which are seen in this video above and in the images below.
In case you missed it, check out the first three Car Culture unboxings for 2024, the World Tour (A case), Japan Historics 4 (B case), and Terra Trek (C case). You can also check out the full CASE REPORTS here on OTD.
